I was voter number 6,400 (in 9 days) at my local early voting location. So not only did I get my awesome "I voted" sticker, but they also gave me that sweet little paper American flag! (feed subscribers, click through for image) I rock all corners of the universe!
I also wandered around a forest preserve for a few hours this morning, and snuck in a trip to the Chicago Botanic Gardens, as well. Those images will follow later in the week. But, since I promised you that I'd introduce you to Bama, the adorable puppy who stole my heart in Atlanta, she's at the bottom of the post. How could I resist those eyes? Defenseless. I was completely defenseless against the puppy power.
